Carter Jagiela brings size, contact upside and steady catching depth to USC Upstate
In the 2024 season, Carter Jagiela logged a .250/.356/.289 line across 28 games with 22 starts for USC Upstate, showing a workable on-base profile and enough bat-to-ball skill to stay in the lineup while handling catcher duties[4]. At 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, he has a big frame that stands out behind the plate, and his background includes time at Saint Joseph’s before arriving at USC Upstate[1][5]. He looks like a depth-adding catcher with useful size, a patient approach, and room for more power if his offensive impact continues to develop[1][4].
