Gold Glove center fielder with legit on-base skill and sneaky pop
Ty Head is a high-impact NC State outfielder whose 2026 season showed why evaluators loved him: a .291 average, 14 homers, 57 walks, 26 steals, and elite center-field defense that earned him the ABCA Gold Glove.[9][13] His calling card is the complete package—advanced strike-zone control, improving power, plus speed, and rare defensive reliability, including a perfect error-free 2026 in center.[9][13] If you want a player who affects the game in every phase and brings real up-the-middle value, he’s an easy fit.[9][13]
