Big Frame, Big Arm, Early UCLA Bullpen Flash
In the 2026 season, UCLA freshman left-hander Mack Edwards has shown early bullpen upside in limited work, striking out two in a scoreless inning against Loyola Marymount after a rough debut, which tells you the raw stuff is real and the ceiling is still the draw. The 6-foot-5, 230-pound Reno product brings a power pitcher look, a strong track record as a high school and summer-ball competitor, and a competitive background that includes basketball and a reputation for toughness. He’s a classic upside bet: not a finished product, but a lefty with size, athleticism, and enough arm talent to keep scouts and coaches intrigued.
