James Reilly brings size, arm-side relief work, and a live look for New Haven
In the 2026 season, New Haven RHP James Reilly has flashed a power-relief profile: a 6-foot-3, 190-pound sophomore who’s been used in short stints and has shown strikeout ability, including 1 K in 1 inning against Hofstra and a season-high 2 K over 2 2/3 innings versus Le Moyne. He’s been hit at times, but his frame, right-handed leverage, and bullpen versatility make him an interesting fit for a staff that wants length and upside more than a finished product.
