Kedrick Alicea is giving UMES a spark with clutch on-base pop and rookie poise
In the 2026 season, Kedrick Alicea has flashed immediate value for Maryland Eastern Shore: he drove in a run in his collegiate debut, later logged his first multi-hit game, and has shown he can work counts and contribute in run-producing spots. The freshman outfielder looks like a contact-first bat with enough discipline to earn walks, and his early game log suggests a steady, team-first presence rather than a loud-tool hype act. If your team wants a young, adaptable left-side bat who competes hard and keeps the lineup moving, he’s worth a close look.
