Tozzi gives Coastal Carolina a steady, power-capable arm behind the plate
Domenico Tozzi looks like a useful two-way catcher for Coastal Carolina in the 2026 season: he appeared in 34 games with 27 starts, hit .200 with four home runs and 13 RBIs, and was flawless defensively with 179 putouts, 22 assists, and 10 runners caught stealing. His 2025 season showed more offensive pop (.264, seven homers, 39 RBIs), so the bat is clearly capable of impact when it’s locked in. What stands out beyond the box score is the trust Coastal has shown him as a true backstop piece—durable, dependable, and power-minded.
