Versatile Weber State safety with a moving-target role
Khalil Stolden is a 6-foot, 190-pound junior safety for Weber State in the 2026 season, and his biggest calling card is versatility: he has played both safety and running back, showing coaches he can absorb change and keep working. He entered the program as a redshirt in 2024, saw action in four games as a redshirt freshman, and his 2025 usage included a brief defensive appearance plus a position switch on offense. That kind of adaptability, plus his background playing both ways in high school, makes him an intriguing depth piece for a team that values toughness, flexibility, and special-teams upside.
