UCF's Dominant Bullpen Ace with Elite Control and Big East Pedigree
The 2026 season has been a breakout year for Gillen at UCF. The right-handed reliever earned First Team All-Big East honors while leading the Knights with a 2.31 ERA across 39 innings pitched, racking up 43 strikeouts. What makes Gillen special: he's a proven performer who thrived at Seton Hall (2024 All-Big East First Team with a 0.34 ERA), transferred to Clemson, then landed at UCF where he's flourished. His track record shows elite command and consistency—he's a low-walk, high-strikeout guy who thrives in high-leverage situations. If you need a reliable, battle-tested reliever with postseason experience and the ability to miss bats, Gillen's your guy.
