Mason Jensen brings upside as a versatile, high-effort Utah Tech tight end
In the 2025 season, Mason Jensen arrived at Utah Tech as a freshman tight end with a strong two-way background and early praise for athleticism, speed, receiving ability, and tenacious blocking. Utah Tech listed him at 6-3, 215 pounds, and the staff’s signing-class note called him an “outstanding receiver” and “tenacious blocker,” which is exactly the kind of all-around TE profile coaches love. He posted 34 catches for 382 yards and 6 TDs as a high school senior, plus 52 tackles and 3 sacks on defense, so he’s clearly a rugged, competitive fit for a physical system.
