Carson Bayne brings pop, plate discipline, and preseason buzz to Charlotte
In the 2024 season, Carson Bayne was one of Charlotte’s most productive bats, hitting .299 with 13 home runs, 47 RBI, and a .929 OPS while earning preseason All-AAC recognition entering 2025. He profiles as a left-field corner bat with real game-changing juice, solid on-base ability, and reliable defense, which makes him a fit for a lineup that wants impact without sacrificing polish. The upside is obvious: middle-order thump, competitive at-bats, and a player trusted by his program in big roles.
