UNI freshman LB Tate Doggett brings a tough, multi-sport resume to the Panthers
In the 2026 season, Tate Doggett is a fresh-faced 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker from Van Meter, Iowa, arriving at UNI after a decorated high school career as a two-time First Team All-State and All-District defender and two-time state champion[1][2]. He profiles as a physical, high-motor fit with track-speed crossover, plus the kind of proven winning background coaches love, though he is still an unproven college defender with no game stats yet[1][3].
