steady Holy Cross guard who blends playmaking, defense, and efficient scoring
Patrick Benzan was a reliable two-way guard for Holy Cross, finishing the 2018-19 season at 5.5 points, 2.7 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game across 31 appearances, with a 44.6% field-goal mark and 25.4 minutes per game.[5][7] The differentiator is his balanced floor game: he can initiate offense, keep possessions moving, and contribute on the ball defensively, which makes him more valuable than a points-only guard.[5][7] At 5'11", he profiles as an energy-and-control player who fits teams needing composure, distribution, and effort over pure shot creation.[8]
