Cole Batson brings size, production, and veteran depth to UC Davis at DB
In the 2025 season, Cole Batson made 13 appearances and nine starts for UC Davis, and across his college career he has logged 121 tackles, 7 pass breakups, 2 interceptions, and 1 forced fumble—solid production for a long, 6-foot-4 defensive back with Power Five experience from Boston College. He looks like a fit if a team wants a physical, assignment-sound DB who can hold up on the perimeter, adds mature graduate-transfer polish, and has been recognized for his work in the classroom as well as on the field.
