6-foot-5 RHP Mason Murdock brings late-inning power and bullpen depth to UNCW
In the 2026 season, Mason Murdock has been a senior right-hander used out of the bullpen for UNC Wilmington, giving the Seahawks a big-bodied, strike-throwing arm with pro-style size and a heavy frame at 6'5", 220. His value is more about role fit than raw counting stats right now: he’s a depth piece who can absorb innings, handle high-leverage spots, and give the staff a different look late in games. The key question is command and consistency, but his size, experience, and relief usage make him a useful fit for a team needing bullpen length and matchup flexibility.
