South Carolina State’s quick-hit guard with shot-creating juice
Rakeim Gary is a compact, experienced guard whose game is built on pace, shot volume, and scoring bursts; in South Carolina State’s 2022-23 season he averaged 11.8 points and 2.7 assists, and he’s been described as a speed-and-skill fit who can handle the ball and get to his spots. He’s not a pure efficiency merchant—his floor game leans more on pressure and perimeter creation than clean, low-mistake orchestration—but that’s exactly why he’s interesting for teams needing an assertive, downhill guard who can change the temperature of a game.
