Defensive-minded Hornets forward with real glue-guy value
Osi Nwachukwu is a 6-foot-5 Sacramento State forward whose calling card has been toughness, defense, and hustle—he was described by the Hornets as “known more for his defensive exploits,” and in the 2019-20 season he averaged 6.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals while starting all 30 games[2]. ESPN lists him at 6.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, while Sacramento State’s coverage highlights a late-season offensive surge, including a 20-point game at Idaho and a stretch of stronger scoring efficiency[1][2][6]. He looks like a fit for a team that wants energy, physicality, and a player who can impact winning without needing plays called for him[2][15].
