Jaxon Sparks brings two-way upside, but 2026 results have been uneven
Sparks is a 6'2", 217-pound left-handed pitcher/outfielder at Indiana State whose biggest selling point is two-way versatility and a strong prep track record: at Fort Wayne Carroll, he hit .351 with a .473 on-base percentage, 10 homers, 55 steals, and a 2.07 ERA on the mound. In 2026, however, his college production has been modest—.188 batting with 1 HR and 4 RBI, and a 6.97 ERA with 9 strikeouts and 13 walks in 10.1 innings—so he looks more like a developmental fit than an immediate impact bat or arm.[2][1]
