Brianne Weiss is Notre Dame’s strikeout engine in the circle
In the 2026 season, Notre Dame left-hander Brianne Weiss has been one of the Irish’s top arms, leading the team with 124 strikeouts and repeatedly showing she can work deep into games, including a complete-game win over Louisville with seven Ks. She looks like a power pitcher with swing-and-miss stuff, and the kind of competitive southpaw who can stabilize a staff even against strong lineups. If you want a pitcher with upside, volume, and real bat-missing ability, she’s a fit.
