Morris Ugusuk brings size, shooting touch, and backcourt depth to West Virginia
Ugusuk is a 6-foot-4 guard whose biggest calling card is perimeter shooting: in the 2024-25 season at South Carolina, he hit 40.7% of his threes and set career highs in minutes, points, and 3-point efficiency. He’s more of a complementary piece than a primary creator, but his length, experience in the SEC and Big 12, and flashes of scoring upside — including a 20-point outburst at Vanderbilt — make him a useful fit for a team needing spacing, versatility, and low-drama veteran guard depth.
