Texas Tech Freshman DB Oliver Miles III Brings NFL-Frame Length and Starter-Caliber Upside
Oliver Miles III is a **6'2", 190-pound freshman defensive back** for Texas Tech, and his biggest draw is the kind of length and size that can translate well to tackling, press coverage, and physical perimeter defense. ESPN lists him as an active freshman, while EA Sports rates him **75 overall** in College Football 26, suggesting solid early-level promise rather than proven production. Because there are no public college stats yet, his value is more about **upside, build, and developmental fit** than immediate box-score impact—making him a smart watchlist prospect for teams that want a long, versatile defensive back with room to grow.[1][2]
