Gianna Frino brings freshman speed and left-handed versatility to Furman’s outfield
Gianna Frino is a 2026 freshman outfielder for Furman, listed at 5'4" and batting left-handed, and her value is more about fit and upside than headline-grabbing volume right now. In Furman’s 2026 stats, she has appeared in limited action, which suggests a role player whose next leap will come from adding consistent at-bats and proving her range and bat-to-ball skills over a full season. For a roster, she looks like a compact, energetic depth piece with developmental upside—someone you’d want if you prize speed, lefty balance, and a grinder’s mentality.
