Navy’s Freshman Center Gavin Dauby Brings Big Frame, High-Character Upside
Dauby enters Navy as a 2026 freshman center with a legit interior build at roughly 6-foot-3, 285 pounds and a résumé full of winning habits: all-state, all-metro, academic all-state, and National Honor Society. He arrives from Christian Brothers College in Missouri after helping win district titles, and the recruiting profile suggests a tough, dependable lineman with enough athletic base to develop in Navy’s system. The immediate stat sheet is limited, but the appeal is obvious: size, discipline, and blue-collar projection—exactly the kind of center who can fit a physical program and grow into a steady anchor.
