Simon Larranaga brings left-handed pop and late-game bite for McNeese
In the 2026 season, Simon Larranaga has been a clutch, power-capable infielder for McNeese, delivering walk-off and pinch-hit RBI swings while also contributing extra-base hits, including a double and a home run in key conference moments. His profile reads like a gamer: experienced senior presence, strong situational hitting, and the ability to change a game with one swing. He’s not just box-score noise—he has shown up in pressure spots, which makes him a fit for teams that value toughness, bench-to-lineup flexibility, and proven competitive fire.
