Jack Angus brings pro-sized righty depth to EMU with a bounce-back arm and late-season value
In the 2026 season, Jack Angus emerged as a useful Eastern Michigan RHP after joining as a transfer, flashing a heavy 6-foot-3, 225-pound frame and giving the Eagles scoreless relief work, including a run-free stretch late in the year. He’s a good fit if you want a physically mature arm with strike-throwing upside and experience against higher-level college competition, but his early-season line at Vanderbilt showed he can be hit when his command wanders. The big differentiator: there’s real “needs a reset, then can help” value here, not just raw stuff.
