Mason Gibson brings championship-level upside to Rutgers at 133

Mason Gibson is a high-upside 133-pounder for Rutgers who already owns a 2022 Junior Nationals freestyle title at 126 and was a major 2024 Penn State commit before flipping to the Scarlet Knights, signaling elite recruiting value and serious mat trust. His appeal is clear: proven winner, national-level pedigree, and the kind of competitive edge Rutgers can build around. Publicly available results here are stronger on his resume than his college stats, so the key question is how quickly that high-end talent translates into Big Ten performance.
