Lefty arm with projectable upside, but early college results have been uneven
In the 2026 season, Christian Trantino has flashed strikeout ability for Sacred Heart, but his early college line has been rough overall, with a 10.06 ERA and 13 strikeouts in 17.0 innings pitched. His appeal is the classic left-handed-pitcher profile: a developing arm with some measurable velocity upside from his prep days and a profile that can still grow with refinement. He looks like a fit for a staff that values developmental patience, not instant polish.
