Miles Newsome brings on-base skill, speed, and Ivy-ready versatility to Brown
Newsome is a right-handed INF/OF for Brown who showed immediate offensive pop in the 2024 season, including a .433 on-base percentage, 14 walks, three steals, and an early-week Ivy Rookie of the Week nod after reaching base seven times in his first two collegiate games. His value goes beyond the box score: he profiles as a grinder with real table-setting instincts, gap-to-gap contact ability, and enough defensive flexibility to move around the diamond. If your team wants a versatile, high-IQ bat with some sneaky extra-base upside and competitive edge, he’s absolutely worth a close look.
