Marion Creech brings a power bat in a pitcher’s frame — but his listed role has shifted to the portal
Creech’s latest public production points to a breakout offensive profile, with a .294 average, .511 slugging, 10 home runs, and 39 RBI in 2026, which makes him an intriguing all-around impact player rather than just a pitcher on paper.[1] Gardner-Webb still lists him as a left-handed pitcher, while his earlier North Greenville bio showed he bats and throws left-handed and stands 6-1, 178, so his fit may depend on whether a team wants two-way versatility or a conversion project.[2][4] He looks appealing for programs that value athletic upside, middle-of-the-order pop, and roster flexibility.[1][2]
