Redbird sniper with legit freshman pop
In the 2024-25 season, Jack Daugherty flashed as a 6'8" freshman forward who can stretch the floor, bury threes in bunches, and swing games with instant offense; he finished with 52 made threes, including multiple seven-triple outings, and earned MVC Freshman of the Week honors after a 14-point, 4-rebound week. What makes him intriguing is not just the shot-making, but the confidence and quick-trigger mentality that let him punish defenses when Illinois State needs a spark. If your team wants a wing-sized floor spacer with upside and a fearlessness factor, he’s absolutely worth a look.
