Nate Kirkpatrick is turning into VCU’s middle-of-the-order spark plug
In the 2026 season, Kirkpatrick posted a .308 average with a .392 OBP, .496 SLG, 9 home runs and 58 RBIs across 62 games, a major jump from his .223 average in 2025. The right-handed infielder brings real game-changing pop, came through with big moments like a go-ahead 10th-inning homer, and earned Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honors after a loud week at the plate. He looks like a strong fit if you want a confident, clutch bat with thump and momentum-setting energy.
