Brantley Lavas brings on-base discipline and dependable center-field defense to UTEP
Lavas emerged as a steady sophomore contributor for UTEP in 2026, starting 48 games and finishing second on the team in walks and center-field putouts while ranking third in runs scored. Her game is built on getting on base, working counts, and covering ground in the outfield rather than loud power, and UTEP’s staff has trusted her in a high-volume role. She also brings academic standout reliability, earning Academic All-District honors and repeated conference academic recognition.
