Freshman lefty Elena Clark-Wilson is already becoming a high-leverage arm for UMBC
In the 2026 season, Elena Clark-Wilson has shown poise beyond her years, picking up her first collegiate win, recording her first save, and repeatedly pitching out of traffic in pressure spots for UMBC[5][8][9]. The 5'4" left-hander brings a crafty, competitive profile with proven strikeout ability from high school, international experience with Great Britain, and a reputation as a two-way utility athlete who adds toughness and versatility to a roster[1][4][10][14].
