Gritty Brazilian Guard Who Powered Pacific Tigers (2011-13)
Rodrigo de Souza, a 6-2 Brazilian guard for Pacific Tigers, posted career averages of 4.2 PTS, 2.0 REB, and 1.8 AST at 41.8% FG across his college stint, but his real differentiator was toughness—overcoming injuries in 2011-12 (13 games, 3.3 PPG) to shine in JUCO nationals, leading his team to 7th place with Region IX All-Tournament honors. Reliable sources praise his intensity and leadership; a solid bench spark for teams needing hustle and international flair, though modest stats mean he's best as a role player, not a star.
