Alex Villas brings veteran size and steady ball skills to Delaware’s secondary
Alex Villas enters the 2026 season as a senior DB for Delaware after appearing in six games in 2024 and earning 10 starts the year before, with the Blue Hens listing him at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds. Delaware’s 2024 preview credited him with 33 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, and four pass breakups in the 2023 season, which points to a physical, reliable safety who can support the run and finish plays in coverage. He looks like a good fit for a team that values experience, toughness, and a steady veteran presence in the back end.
