Nick Flores gives VCU a polished, run-producing infield bat
In 2025, the freshman infielder hit .295 with a .368 OBP, .500 SLG, 9 home runs, 39 RBI, 14 doubles and 59 hits in 52 games, while starting 51 times and splitting work between second base, the outfield and DH. That kind of everyday versatility matters: Flores already looks like a mature college hitter with gap power, enough pop to change a game, and the flexibility to help a roster in multiple spots. He’s a strong fit for teams that want an energetic, reliable bat who can handle responsibility early.[2]
