SFA's Power-Hitting C/1B with a .280 BA and 5 HRs in 2026
Lilly Bean, a 5'7" senior catcher/first baseman for Stephen F. Austin, delivered a standout 2026 season with a .280 batting average, .787 OPS, and 5 home runs in 53 games, including a clutch HR against Abilene Christian that doubled the lead. Her differentiators include elite plate discipline (13 RBIs, 33 total hits), a fierce competitive intensity, and a versatile defensive mindset honed from her Weatherford College background. Bean’s injury history is clean, and her personality—resilient, team-first, and quietly witty—makes her a perfect fit for any team needing a reliable power-hitter with leadership grit. She’s not just a stat leader; she’s a game-changer who elevates her team’s intensity in critical moments.
