Bucknell QB Nicholas Penuvchev brings size, upside, and a live arm
Penuvchev is a 6-foot-3, 215-pound sophomore quarterback who flashed real pop in 2025: in his first career action against Holy Cross, he went 13-for-22 for 237 yards and two touchdowns, then earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors. Bucknell’s own roster notes show he was a four-year varsity starter across three schools, which hints at adaptability, confidence, and a lot of live-game reps. He looks like a developmental QB with arm talent and poise under pressure—more “bet on the ceiling” than polished finished product.
