Christian Hack brings size, left-handed leverage, and veteran grit to Valpo’s bullpen
In the 2026 season, Christian Hack is a redshirt senior left-handed pitcher at Valparaiso listed at 6-foot-4, 220 pounds, and he has shown flashes as a strikeout-capable reliever while working through uneven results (14.46 ERA, 9.1 IP, 8 K, 5 BB). He missed most of the 2025 season with an injury, which adds context to the performance dip, but Valpo’s game notes still trust him in pressure spots, including scoreless relief work against Purdue. The fit is obvious for teams wanting a big-bodied LHP with experience, deception, and some late-inning upside if health and command keep trending up.
