Drew Church brings size, arm strength, and under-the-radar upside to Eastern Illinois
Drew Church is a 6'3", right-handed infielder at Eastern Illinois whose profile stands out for his physical frame, strong infield arm, and developing bat speed; Prep Baseball Report lists an 88 mph infield velo with a 94 mph exit velocity, suggesting legitimate tools that could translate with continued refinement. He arrived from Montini Catholic as a starting shortstop and was a ranked Illinois prospect in the class of 2025, so he has both pedigree and projection. For a team, he looks like a high-upside, tool-driven INF worth monitoring if you want athletic upside and long-term growth potential.
