Aidan Haynes brings size, live arm, and swing-and-miss upside to ULM's bullpen
Haynes is a 6-foot-5 right-hander whose appeal starts with his frame and power stuff: scouting data lists his fastball up to 94 mph, with a usable changeup and notable strikeout upside. In 2025, he worked 19.1 innings for UL Monroe with a 6.98 ERA, 12 strikeouts and 13 walks, so the profile still comes with command volatility, but he has shown multi-inning relief value and flashes of hitless, high-leverage work. He looks like a good fit for a staff that can develop raw velocity into more consistent strike-throwing and leverage his effort and projection into a tougher late-inning option.[2][3][10]
