steady, versatile backcourt glue with proven feel for the game
Deng Dut brings veteran guard savvy and a pass-first mindset that coaches usually love in a rotation piece. In 2022-23 at Southern Utah, he appeared in 8 games and averaged 0.8 points, 1.3 assists, and 1.1 rebounds in 8.8 minutes, while Southern Utah described him as a “smart and versatile point guard” who can make teammates better. He has also shown long-term adaptability across college stops and overseas play, which suggests maturity, resilience, and a low-drama fit for a team needing a connective, team-first guard.
