Defensive Anchor & Scoring Forward for SFA Lumberjacks
Clide Geffrard, a Pompano Beach, FL native playing Forward (#11) for Stephen F. Austin, stands out as a high-intensity two-way player who averaged 13.3 points and 5.9 rebounds in the 2015 season while setting a career high with 4 blocked shots. Beyond his stats, Geffrard is known for his relentless defensive pressure, clutch free-throw shooting in tight games (e.g., sealing the 71-68 lead vs. McNeese), and a fearless mentality that helped SFA overcome furious second-half comeback attempts. His combination of offensive rebounding, field goal efficiency (48.2%), and defensive versatility makes him an ideal fit for teams needing a forward who can score, protect the rim, and elevate team intensity without injury concerns.
