Lance Footman brings early-season impact and linebacker-sized thump to Edward Waters
In the 2026 season, freshman linebacker Lance Footman is listed at 6'1", 230 lbs and has already appeared in Edward Waters’ defensive rotation, including recorded tackles in the Tigers’ early September box score. His appeal is straightforward: compact build, downhill physicality, and enough game action to suggest the staff trusts him early. The big-picture fit is a tough, run-first defender with room to grow into a larger role as he adds polish and experience.
