Daego Albert brings veteran depth and special-teams value to UNLV’s secondary
Albert is a depth DB who has earned playing time at UNLV by being dependable on defense and especially useful on special teams, appearing in 14 games in 2023 with 8 tackles and in nine games in 2024 with a kickoff return and three tackles against UNR. He is not a ball-hawk stats machine, but his value is in reliability, versatility, and willingness to do the unglamorous work that coaches trust; that makes him a fit for teams that want a steady rotational defensive back who can contribute in multiple phases.[1][2][3]
