Holy Cross Pitcher Avery Toddings: Elite Career Strikeout Artist Navigating Sophomore Slump
Toddings is a high-velocity right-hander with exceptional career credentials—1.55 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, and 343 strikeouts over 265.2 innings at Holy Cross. The 2024 Scholar-Athlete showed promise as a freshman but has struggled in 2026, posting a 3.90 ERA in 2025 and recently taking a loss in relief against Army. Her elite strikeout-to-walk ratio (7:1 career) and 4.0 high school GPA suggest mental toughness and work ethic. Best fit for programs seeking a talented arm with upside who thrives in competitive environments and values academic excellence.
