Anaya James is Pacific’s engine—steady, tough, and built to create
In the 2024-25 season, Pacific guard Anaya James started all 34 games and averaged 12.5 points, 4.6 assists, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.2 steals in 32.4 minutes per game, giving the Tigers a high-minute, two-way floor general who can create for others and turn defense into offense.[1][9] What makes her especially valuable is the combination of playmaking, on-ball disruption, and big-game poise—she posted a 30-point outburst in the 2025 WCC tournament, so she looks like the kind of guard who can lift a team’s intensity and possession-by-possession control.[14][15]
