Ryan Maggy brings lefty pop and upside to WVU’s infield mix
Ryan Maggy is a 6-foot-1, 195-pound infielder whose bat showed real juice in 2025 summer-league action, and WVU later noted he appeared in 17 games and drove in four runs during the 2026 season. He’s a left-handed hitter with enough pop to profile as a run-producing corner infielder, and his Perfect Game background plus strong high-school résumé hint at upside beyond the box score. He also has some positional flexibility and was part of West Virginia’s 2026 College World Series run, which says plenty about his competitiveness and fit in a winning room.
