QB Status Unclear as Braylon Braxton Leads Southern Miss Passing in 2025
Landry Lyddy, a QB for Southern Miss, does not appear in the 2025 passing stats through October 17, where senior Braylon Braxton dominated with 1,473 yards, 65.3% completion, and 13 TDs to just 3 INTs [1]. This absence suggests Lyddy may be a backup, injured, redshirted, or not yet on the active depth chart for the 2025 season. Without game data, his strengths, differentiators, and rankings remain unverified by performance metrics. If you need a proven, high-intensity starter with elite decision-making (147.27 rating), Braxton is the clear fit; Lyddy’s value hinges on potential upside, coaching trust, and recovery from any undisclosed injury or roster status not captured in public stats.
