Beam’s 7-foot-1 rim presence is starting to matter for Georgia State
In the 2025-26 season, Christian Beam gave Georgia State a real interior body: 7-foot-1, 255 pounds, he averaged 3.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 0.8 blocks in 26 appearances with 15 starts, while producing a season-high 13 rebounds in a double-double against Northern Illinois. His best selling point is size plus activity — he’s a low-usage finisher, rebounder, and shot-alterer who can swing physical matchups even when he’s not scoring much. If a team wants a traditional center who brings effort, rim protection, and board work over flash, Beam is a legitimate fit.
