Geron Johnson was a gritty, two-way glue guy at Memphis
In the 2013-14 season, Geron Johnson gave Memphis toughness, rebounding from the guard spot, and real defensive bite: he averaged 9.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 104 steals across 67 games played with 59 starts. He wasn’t just a stat line—reports described him as the Tigers’ defensive stopper and a clutch shot-maker who could swing momentum with timely threes. If you want a physical, high-intensity guard who brings edge, versatility, and late-game nerve, he fits.
